Approach

Restoring Balance Through Understanding

Health is not a fixed state. It is shaped by season, lifestyle, environment, relationships, and the many transitions of life. My approach combines traditional East Asian medicine with thoughtful observation, clinical experience, and practical guidance to support wellbeing in everyday life.

Archetypal Acupuncture — Healing with the Five Elements

The Five Elements

A living map for health and wellbeing.

The Five Elements offer a living map through which I understand health and wellbeing. In my practice, I use this framework to explore the deeper patterns behind physical symptoms, emotional imbalances, and the changes that arise across different stages of life.

Rooted in the philosophy of Yin and Yang, the Five Elements recognise that health is dynamic and influenced by many aspects of daily life, including sleep, stress, food, relationships, environment, and the changing seasons. This approach brings together traditional East Asian Medical theory, Five Element constitutional insight, and a modern understanding of whole-person health, offering care that is gentle, personalised, and deeply integrative.

Living in rhythm

With the seasons.

Each consultation begins with listening, to your story, your concerns, your health history, and the patterns that may be influencing your wellbeing.

Through conversation, observation, pulse and tongue assessment, a personalised understanding of your health begins to emerge.

Guided by the principles of the Five Elements, treatment is tailored to your individual constitution, current presentation, and the season of life you are moving through.

Care is designed to work with your body's natural rhythms, helping to cultivate greater resilience, vitality, and long-term wellbeing.
